Losing My Marbles shows how a simple repetitive action intended to displace common anxiety (snapping a rubberband against a wrist) becomes obsessive and creates more tension than it was meant to overcome in the first place. The disjunction between the action and layered sound of marbles falling down a stairwell examines the dichotomy between order and chaos, restraint and impulse. |
